Welcome to this class. Today, you are getting a course outline which includes a list of necessary supplies. I expect that you will have these by Monday, February 6. This gives you the long weekend to acquire them. I have also listed them here for quick reference:
Hilroy Exercise book, 32 pages (comes in packs of four with various colours
Pens (blue and black only)
pencils
Binder with dividers
Loose leaf paper
Highlighters (get a pack with four colours) THESE ARE A MUST
Flash drive (memory stick, USB, jump drive)
I also expect you to have an independent novel chosen from the list I have given you. This is important as you will be able to use any of these novels on your final written exam (Part A).
I also gave you a handout on writing the personal response. You will write a practice one of these tomorrow. If you were not here, the course outline and this information is in your portfolio.
